MISSION STATEMENT
Noisy Mime Theatre exists foremost to provide a safe, professional working environment for young artists to learn about, explore, and express themselves. The Company promotes affordable, high quality youth theatre through its theatrical season, workshops, individual training sessions and exposure to local working artists. Noisy Mime encourages personal, social, cultural and artistic growth in all its members by maintaining an open, organically creative and emotionally safe place to practice their craft.
Our goal is to create a multifaceted and self sustaining arts community through the participation of local youth artists, and the introduction of programs designed to retain the artists already working in the city. Work has already begun on that front in the form of Project Venue. The ultimate aim of Project Venue, and the company, is to provide professional and affordable work and performance space for all forms of performance art, as well as gallery and display space for visual and audio mediums.
